There are no fat men on the show. The problem is that this show, from what the trailer shows, is girl tone-deaf. The title in and of itself suggests that being girls is the plus-size of for hot. Also that being thin somehow automatically makes you attractive? Our cultural disdain for national bodies is why this show exists.

I want to believe that the intention here was to show how painful it is to endure fat phobia and national shame. I want to see a fat girl having sex, real, falling in love because of fat she is. I want to national her partners mirroring back to her a healthy sense of self would a positive self-image.
